Here's an amazing recovery story from M. Yang, a long-time Natren customer in Taiwan.
As many of you know, Natren Probiotics is the only brand I recommend. They are the only probiotics I trust for the successful treatment of various medical conditions. And I used it in my own successful treatment of cellulite in 2006, after the birth of my third child.
Recently, Yang shared an incredible story about her cousin's son's recovery from a severe cellulitis infection with the help of Natren probiotics after conventional treatments failed to produce results.
Initial symptoms and urgent concerns
On May 9, Yang's cousin called her around noon in a very concerned tone as she was very worried about her teenage son's deteriorating skin condition. She wasn't sure whether the affected area required attention from dermatology, the infectious disease department, or the emergency room.
The infection showed symptoms of cellulitis, including significant redness, swelling, warmth and increasing pain in the lower leg. These were classic signs of a serious bacterial infection that penetrated deeper layers of the skin and possibly affected the subcutaneous tissue.

I am seeking immediate medical attention
Yang immediately contacted a health care provider, the chief dermatologist at Chiayi Christian Hospital in Taiwan, whom she knew well.
The dermatologist immediately advised the cousin to take her son for a physical exam that same afternoon.
During the examination in clinical practice, the dermatologist found clear signs of infection and prescribed oral antibiotics for the initial treatment of cellulitis, suspecting that it was common bacteria such as Streptococcus pyogenes.
Hospitalization after initial antibiotic failure
By May 12, the prescribed oral antibiotics had proven ineffective. The infection worsened, indicating higher risk and requiring immediate escalation of treatment.
Recognizing the severity and possible complications such as low blood pressure, systemic inflammation and very high temperatures, the dermatologist transferred the teenager to the emergency room for further treatment.
In the emergency room, an endocrinologist was assigned to monitor the health status, taking into account risk factors such as diabetes mellitus, peripheral arterial disease, venous insufficiency or a possible weakened immune system.
In addition, a plastic surgeon assessed the wound and documented its progression and possible complications. The medical staff decided that intravenous antibiotics were essential due to the severity.
Introducing Natren Probiotics

On May 13, Yang offered her cousin five capsules of a commercial probiotic (not Natren), initially suggesting a dosage of one capsule per day, increasing to two capsules daily if no improvement was noted.
At this point, the probiotics were administered orally in parallel with ongoing hospital treatments.
Despite these efforts, minimal improvement was observed by May 15. The health care provider switched the intravenous antibiotics to a different route and anticipated at least another week of hospitalization.
Concerned about the lack of significant progress, Yang encouraged her cousin to try Natrens Healthy Trinity probiotics, a much more expensive but trustworthy product that Yang had recommended based on her personal and family experiences.
Natrens Trinity Probiotics – a game changer
On May 16, Yang took decisive action and prepared a topical probiotic solution by soaking and extracting the contents of two Natren Healthy Trinity capsules. She applied the probiotic paste directly to the infected area. Within 30 minutes the inflammation decreased dramatically,

Skin temperature is significantly reduced from an inflamed, hot state to normal. Her cousin was amazed at this quick improvement.
In addition, Yang advised her cousin to take Healthy Trinity probiotics orally and recommended three capsules after dinner in the evening, followed by a special regimen of three capsules after breakfast, two after lunch and three after dinner starting the next day.
Remarkable recovery progress
By May 17, less than 24 hours after introducing Natren Trinity's probiotics, redness, swelling and inflammation decreased significantly.
Yang's cousin described this quick recovery as a miracle. Encouraged by these immediate improvements, healthcare providers closely monitored the condition.
On May 19th, the inflammatory indices showed a significant decrease. To confirm that the wound was free of deeper infection, the plastic surgeon made a small surgical incision to rule out festering blood or internal complications beneath the surface of the skin.
Full recovery and clinical review

On May 20, the teenager was officially released from the hospital. Doctors switched his antibiotic therapy from intravenous to oral antibiotics and found that the festering wound had completely healed.
On May 21, photos shared with family and friends documented the incredible healing.
A follow-up visit on May 26 provided further clinical confirmation of full recovery. Remarkably, the plastic surgeon could not identify the site of the surgical incision he had made just a week earlier.
He needed patient records to locate the previously infected area. The wound healed completely without scarring, a testament to the effectiveness of Natren Healthy Trinity probiotics.
Precautionary recommendations
Recognizing that cellulitis episodes can recur, especially in those with weakened immune systems or chronic illnesses, Yang recommended continuing probiotic supplementation with Natren to strengthen skin integrity and the immune system.
She also recommended proactively applying an antibiotic ointment to minor skin tears, puncture wounds or surgical incisions as a preventative treatment.
Clinical evidence and broader health context
Severe cases of cellulitis, particularly those refractory to initial treatment, pose significant clinical challenges. Medical guidelines and research emphasize the importance of identifying the specific type of bacteria through bacterial cultures to tailor precise antibiotic treatments.
Common pathogens that complicate the treatment of cellulitis include methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Conditions such as athlete's foot, diabetes mellitus, lymphatic dysfunction and venous insufficiency are known risk factors for cellulitis.
Comprehensive clinical practice includes treatment of these underlying conditions, use of compression bandages, meticulous wound care, and personalized treatment plans to reduce recurrences and complications.
The broader importance of probiotics in clinical practice
This case study illustrates the potential of probiotics as an essential complementary therapy alongside traditional antibiotic treatments.
Healthcare systems, including those in the United States, could benefit significantly from integrating oral and topical probiotics into clinical protocols, potentially reducing hospitalizations, treatment duration, and associated healthcare costs.

Yang's impressive recovery story from Taiwan highlights the potential benefits of probiotics in treating severe cellulitis infections and urges broader clinical recognition and proactive healthcare strategies to improve patient outcomes and public health.
Conclusion and recommendations
M. Yang's statement highlights the critical role that probiotics, particularly Natren Trinity probiotics, can play in the treatment of serious bacterial infections such as cellulitis.
This case clearly demonstrates the ability of probiotics to promote rapid recovery and complete healing, even in complicated and antibiotic-resistant cases.
