Why a comparison between Ag1 and MultiAbsorb?

People have asked me if there is anything similar to MultiAbsorb Immune Booster on the market and I think Athletic Greens (AG1) is the best competitor. This post will give a complete comparison. It also shows how both products support overall health.

Note that a AG1's 30-day delivery costs $99. MultiAbsorb costs $52. That's almost half the price.

    Why?

Because Imix Nutrition (who makes MultiAbsorb) is owned by my husband Ian Thompson. And all Imix products are developed by me.

We want to provide my readers with the best healing supplements at the best price. Simply. But somehow this leads to a radical price difference.

We also don't have to factor in a huge advertising budget into the product costs. I'm not trying to be the next big thing! We just want to help real people get real results.

All of our family and most of our friends use Imix products. We formulate and produce for our own children, along with hundreds of thousands of my readers with hypersensitive bodies.

This article is not medical advice. Always consult your doctor before taking any dietary supplements.

Now let's take a closer look at how these products compare.

    Cost comparison and ingredient transparency

As I mentioned, AG1 costs $99 for 30-day delivery. MultiAbsorb Immune Booster costs $52. That's almost half the cost.

AG1 uses proprietary blends. This means you don't know the exact dosage of each ingredient. For example, their phytonutrient blend weighs a total of 1.5 grams. But it contains 21 powdered ingredients. This means only a very small amount at a time.

Most consumers see this huge list of vegetables and plants and think: “Wow, it has everything I need!” However, the actual amount is so small that it is unlikely to have a therapeutic effect. What good is 2 micrometers of broccoli powder? Or a grain of ginger?

A good way to illustrate this is to know that a teaspoon of sugar weighs 5 grams. One teaspoon of ground ginger weighs 3 grams. So 1.5 grams total from 21 ingredients means you get about half a teaspoon of all of these ingredients combined.

MultiAbsorb lists each ingredient clearly. No proprietary blends. You know the exact amount you will receive. This is a really easy way to check the correct dosage of essential nutrients.

So here we go – here’s the side-by-side comparison of the two products with some of my quick notes (<– click this link to download the PDF version).

    Important nutrients and benefits

MultiAbsorb contains high (therapeutic) doses of essential vitamins.

This includes the entire vitamin B complex in therapeutic amounts as well as co-factors such as choline and myo-inositol.

    These are known to support:

    • Immune support
    • Energy level
    • Nervous system
    • Normal psychological function
    • Normal energy metabolism
    • Maintaining normal bones
    • Gut health
    • intestinal mucosa
    • Digestive support
    • Normal functioning of digestive enzymes

They are all included.

If your system is hypersensitive and you can't handle vegetables or herbs, start with MultiAbsorb Daily Essential.

It contains vitamins, antioxidants, bioflavonoids, trace elements and amino acids. Start with just 1/4 or 1/2 scoop every other day with food.

My favorite is the orange mango flavor. I take it for breakfast or lunch. What you see in this photo is MultiAbsorb Daily Essential just after I added it to the water. Wait 5 minutes, then stir and everything will dissolve beautifully. Yummy!

When I take MultiAbsorb Immune Booster, I like to add it to a shake or smoothie. But my 84 year old mother loves it just mixed with water (she is in excellent health and takes no medications – she wouldn't go a day without MultiAbsorb Immune Booster!).

    Designed for sensitive bodies

MultiAbsorb does not contain any artificial sweeteners. This is important for many people who find it difficult to use traditional green powders. AG1 contains proprietary blends and while it may support energy and gut health, the exact ingredients and amounts are not always clear.

MultiAbsorb was developed for people like me. People with sensitive systems. People who need healing, not hype.

Why certain ingredients are limited or omitted

Some nutrients are intentionally included in lower amounts:

    • Vitamin C: Can loosen the intestines in higher doses; The mineral form ascorbate is significantly better tolerated than ascorbic acid.
    • Calcium: Regular calcium can build up in the arteries and is thought to contribute to atherosclerosis.
    • Magnesium: Regular forms can also loosen the intestines.

Instead, Imix Nutrition produces atom-sized ionic liquid minerals. These are immediately absorbed through the oral mucosa and do not need to be digested. They are available separately and are recommended in this easily absorbable form.

Other ingredients are excluded from MultiAbsorb for important reasons:

    • ALA (alpha lipoic acid): Often causes gastrointestinal complaints such as diarrhea or nausea.
    • Iron: May cause intestinal bleeding or irritate the intestines in IBD patients.
    • Phosphorus: It is already present in other ingredients, such as B vitamins, and therefore does not need to be added.

No probiotics – for good reason

MultiAbsorb does not contain probiotics. This is intentional. Probiotics feed all bacteria, not just the good ones. If your gut microbiota is out of balance, introducing probiotics can actually make problems worse. Bacteria fight for space – a concept known as competitive exclusion.

Additionally, all viable probiotics should be refrigerated from production to consumption. Most products do not meet this standard, greatly reducing their effectiveness and causing many species to die by the time they are consumed.

    Taste and ease of use

AG1 is praised for its taste and convenience, including travel packages. MultiAbsorb also mixes well and tastes good. Users say it is the tastiest vegetable they have ever tasted. It fits easily into everyday life.

Many report a positive effect on energy and clarity. So your taste buds won't notice the difference!

    Customer service and support

Imix Nutrition offers great customer service. Many users leave real reviews. Free shipping is possible. People say it helps them maintain a healthy lifestyle and good diet.

    Important considerations

This blog contains a medical disclaimer. Always consult your doctor before starting to take any new supplements. Possible side effects may occur. Especially if you are taking anticoagulant medications or other medications.

These products are not suitable for young children unless recommended by a doctor and the dosage is adjusted according to the child's weight.

    Final comparison

AG1 is known. It claims to conduct its own health research. It advertises itself as a green energy source. However, proprietary blends are used and the actual dosage of each nutrient is unclear.

MultiAbsorb is more transparent. It contains a high proportion of essential nutrients. It supports digestive enzymes, good bacteria and the normal function of many body systems.

If you are looking for the best supplement with clear dosages, MultiAbsorb is the best option. It provides a daily serving of real ingredients in powder form.

Specially developed by gut healing expert Jini Patel Thompson and ideal for people with irritable bowel syndrome, IBD, gastric bypass, bariatric surgery, or other conditions that increase digestive sensitivity. It supports a healthy diet and general health in everyday life.

This is a good idea for healthy adults. Especially if you're looking for the right no-frills multivitamin. MultiAbsorb gives your body what it needs. At a price that makes sense.
