Have you considered switching to Starlink for your internet service? Or is there simply no internet via fiber optic cable available in your area? Did you know that you can avoid all EMR (electromagnetic radiation) through WiFi? And hardwire your Starlink satellite with an Ethernet cable instead?
I'll show you how to first test your setup and then permanently install your Starlink antenna's Ethernet cables so they're protected from rodents, weather, damage, etc.
After setting up your satellite dish, here are the instructions on how to hardwire the Ethernet cables to route them throughout your home, to different rooms or areas.
In the video above, the Starlink dish is being set up on my ranch in Canada. So we have enough space to put it 350 feet away from the house… So no EMF or EMR enters our living area.
But what if you can't get your Starlink antenna off the roof of your house?
We want to live in Mexico part of the year and the dish will probably need to be placed on the roof of the house as there is simply no land available to put it further away.
In this case, you can use either copper, mesh, aluminum braid, or aluminum foil to shield the bottom of the dish to keep the radiation from entering your home.
Aluminum mesh is easier to use in construction projects. Allows air/moisture flow, which is important in walls.
You can also use aluminum foil, which has a much higher RF shielding effect.
However, the best EMR shielding is made of copper – although it is also the most expensive material. You can use copper wire mesh and use it to line the roof under your bowl.
