Let’s talk about colloidal silver! Just like wild oregano oil, there are SO many uses for this anti-pathogen. This is because colloidal and nanoscale silver is antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial – a triple blow! The silver ion (Ag +) is bioactive and in sufficient concentration easily kills bacteria in vitro. Silver also kills bacteria in external wounds in living tissue. Doctors therefore use wound dressings that contain silver sulfadiazine or silver nanomaterials to treat external infections.
The disinfecting properties of silver are used in medical applications such as urinary catheters and endotracheal breathing tubes, where the silver content is effective in reducing the incidence of catheter-related urinary tract infections and ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). Silver is also used in prosthetic bones, orthopedic reconstructive surgery, and cardiac devices, as well as on surfaces and fabrics to reduce the spread of infection.
I wrote about the use of colloidal silver in a homemade natural aloe hand sanitizer because I much prefer to use it (along with hydrogen peroxide and essential oils) as an ingredient over abrasive isopropyl alcohol. It’s also part of my protocol for curing tooth decay, can be used as a sinus rinse in a neti pot or in a vaporizer for lung infections and inflammation.
Colloidal silver is even used in the Goldberg Clinic! As soon as Dr. Paul Goldberg knows what you are infected with, so he does his lab test to see which anti-pathogen agents are effective against your bedbugs. The colloidal silver in our shop has particularly tiny silver nanoparticles – it’s not quite ngstrom in size, but can be considered nanoparticle size silver as the average particle size in this liquid colloidal silver product is around 1 to 100 nanometers, or around 0.001. is enough micrometer. This tiny particle size means that absorption is increased for optimal colloidal silver benefits, and that’s why I have used this for my various remedies (like StrictureHeal and my perianal abscess and fistula treatment).
In my natural parasite solution, it is taken orally – but if you are taking silver orally, be sure that you are also adding a strong probiotic as it kills ALL bacteria in the intestines (similar to wild oregano oil).
