Elemental Diet Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I am intolerant to the product or if it is simply the healing process or the nature of an elemental diet?
If you are unsure if your body agrees with the product or if it is just part of the healing process during the Elemental Diet, follow these simple steps. First, choose the correct version of the product, e.g. B. Absorb Plus based on what works for your body.
Switch between different versions throughout your diet to see how you feel.
If you can stick to the diet for weeks, that's a good sign that your body is coping well with it. But remember that introducing easy-to-manage foods is crucial in the long run.

Start with an elemental shake with no added fat, such as: B. Absorb Plus, and slowly add the desired fat. according to your tolerance. As your gut heals, you can tolerate more good fat.
Keep an eye on your gut health, understand the difference between die-off and intolerance symptoms, and pay attention to signs like bloating and constipation to find out how well you're doing on the elemental diet.
Can you add fat to the Elemental diet?
Start gradually with MCT oil (coconut oil). If you cannot tolerate MCT oil, use cold-pressed organic linseed oil or Udos oil. When you're ready to add fat, start with just half a teaspoon, maybe even a quarter teaspoon. And then gradually increase the amount up to 1 tablespoon as your tolerance increases.
How do I care for my intestinal flora?
Typically, a large part of the reason you choose an elemental diet is due to your imbalanced intestinal flora. Your mucous membrane is not healthy or resilient. So what I recommend to my readers is my IBD Remission Diet book if you want to completely reboot your microbiome.
You can also start using Jini's Wild Oregano Oil Protocol right away as it has amazing antimicrobial properties. Combined with a high dose probiotic supplement using Natren probiotics.
What are some of the most common signs of food allergy and intolerance?
One of the biggest challenges with an elemental diet is distinguishing between allergy symptoms, intolerances and die-off reactions.
Common signs such as fatigue, headaches, bloating and bloating can be attributed to various causes.
I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to develop intuitive skills and listen to the body's wisdom!
How do I deal with bloating and constipation?
Bloating, which resembles a fourth-month pregnant belly, is discussed as a common response to elemental diets due to its pre-digested nature. This is a normal reaction for many people. In addition, constipation occasionally occurs. In the video I show a simple solution using a magnesium citrate supplement. You can also use high-dose vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid to stimulate bowel movements while boosting the immune system!
