    Find out about my supplement regime

    What do I take daily/weekly to maintain my excellent health after I am completely healthy? I can't tell you how many friends and family have asked for this list! But first, let me define what I mean by “excellent health.”

    I am now 55 years old, have no health problems and do not take any medication. My hair is thick and healthy and grows an inch per month. My fingernails grow so quickly that I have to cut them every two weeks. I don't need glasses or other corrective devices. I fall asleep easily and sleep for 6-7 hours. And wake up naturally without an alarm.

    I have strong, sustained energy throughout the day…with no dip in the afternoon. I don't need caffeine or anything like that in the morning – I wake up ready to go – and my morning tea is usually rooibos or raspberry leaves.

    My secret

    I spend time with dogs and my herd of wild/semi-wild horses and can easily manage 4-6 hours of physical work – this helps keep me in great health! I'm outside, breathing the wonderfully fresh air of the ancient cedars and firs, seeing amazing horse creatures and my feet on the earth. I touch and breathe in an extremely diverse microbiome made up of hundreds of plants, feces, fungi, moss, trees, dozens of species of birds, insects, bats, mice… I could go on! (*See video below)

    Remember the hygiene theory – that one of the reasons people are so sick these days and children have so many allergies is hypersterility? Humans have lived in an ecosystem made up of plants, soil and animals for thousands of years. And our immune system developed in this matrix.

    When people isolate themselves in cities without nature, or when the soil, plants, water, animals, etc. are not healthy, development goes wrong – and often it is because people are fooling around. Okay, back to the topic of this post!

    My nutritional supplement plan depending on the season

    My supplementation varies depending on the season, stress levels, travel, etc. Winter puts more stress on my body due to the lack of sunshine in the Pacific Northwest – so I greatly increase my vitamin D3 intake.

    This means that I also have to increase my magnesium intake enormously; Because vitamin D3 needs magnesium in order to be converted into its active/usable form in the body!

    I also do a lot of physical work on my ranch. Up to 7 hours at a time, especially in summer, but usually 3-4 hours at least 4 days per week. This increases my need for QuikPlus Magnesium (to prevent cramps) and QuikPlus Silica (for joint pain).

    In the summer and fall, I eat homegrown vegetables grown in soil composted from my horse manure and teeming with earthworms and beneficial microorganisms. Therefore, I only use MultiAbsorb Daily Essential once or twice a week and sometimes not at all.

    In winter, when traveling or in stressful times, I use the MultiAbsorb Immune Booster daily or as needed.

    I also use QuikPlus Bone Matrix and Trace Matrix every day or every other day throughout the year. These minerals and trace elements are all in atomic form (nano, picometer, angstrom) so they are immediately absorbed into the bloodstream and do not irritate the intestines or accumulate in unwanted places (such as joints or arteries).

    I also take QuikPlus Magnesium or Muscle Matrix along with supplemental silica in the summer as I am physically active and often work hard in the spring/summer/fall months. Winter is the time to rest (or travel!) when you work on a 160-acre ranch.

    Tip: I keep bottles of all my QuikPlus minerals on my desk and also next to my kettle (which sits next to my Berkey filtered water). This means they are always at hand to squirt a few drops into my tea or water.

    Mindful consumption

    I do not consume commercial powdered minerals (other than the very small amounts in MultiAbsorb) because the liquid, atom-sized minerals are a far superior form and are identical to the way we obtain minerals from plants.

    Unfortunately, due to the tragedy of modern agriculture, most of these minerals are no longer present in our soil, and certainly not in sufficient quantities – so we do not get these vital minerals from the plants/vegetables we eat.

    The only thing I consume year-round – as humans have for thousands of years – is therapeutic-level Natren probiotics. Unless you grow your own yogurt and kefir (from tried-and-tested, effective varieties) and eat them every day, you need a strong, resilient gut from Natren.

    One time my family was in Mexico and the entire resort had vomiting and diarrhea – except for us. Because we had brought our Natren probiotics with us, stored them in the bar fridge and consumed them daily!

    Now that you understand a bit of the scope or “why” of my supplementation, here is how I do it:

    And that’s it – pretty simple, yet effective! Because MultiAbsorb contains 37 – 47 important ingredients (depending on which version you use) in one measuring spoon, without fillers, flow agents, preservatives or artificial substances.     This summer I harvested wild burdock roots on my ranch. That's why I also combined burdock tincture with Trace Matrix for a few months to improve gut health and support detoxification. Burdock is excellent for cleansing the blood, liver, gallbladder, spleen and lymph. The trace elements and amino acids in Trace Matrix, derived from ancient soil, are excellent chelators and improve the tight connections in the intestinal lining (thus preventing leaky gut).
