I’m looking back on the year and sharing some of the things I’ll be working on in 2026.
Hello friends! How are you doing? I hope you’re having a great week so far. The kids are back at school, Liv’s 14th birthday is this week (HOW?!), and I’m just starting to get my life together. I felt very productive until the winter break and got back to work very slowly.
I’m looking forward to getting back into a routine, some fun things coming up, and cautiously optimistic about the new year.
Some personal highlights from 2025:
– We went to Disneyland to celebrate Liv’s birthday

– Beef steak with friends

– The pilot has retired from the Air Force

– We celebrated Wyatt’s Bar Mitzvah

– I sang Carmina Burana with the symphony choir

– My brother Bailey got married!!

– In my most unhinged and successful travel plan yet, the girls and I went on a European Disney cruise and spent 5+ weeks in Spain

– and the newest member of our family: Lola the min goldendoodle. We are all completely blown away by this sweet girl and Maisey is already happy about the sister. She’s definitely a puppy, but has a lot of energy and doesn’t constantly bother Maisey. I can tell they will be best friends.

Review of 2025 and my goals for 2026
Professional summary:
From an Integrative Health Practitioner perspective, this has been a year of learning, expansion, and customer success. It was so amazing to see their victories and I reviewed over 100 lab tests last year!
Thanks to your incredible support, I was a 100 Day Challenge winner (placed 7th out of over 5,000 practitioners!) and was invited to speak on a Health Coach Success panel with some other IHPs that I respect and admire so much.

I feel so blessed every day to be a part of EquiLife’s incredible mission and the inspiring people behind it. I can’t wait to see what IHP and EquiLife have in store for next year!!

I hired a podcast manager and we saw 700% growth last summer, which was huge! He helped me with show notes, editing, creating reels and full video episodes on YouTube. I took a little break over the holidays and am excited to get back to it with some incredible guests booked for this month.
I am also grateful for affiliate partners including Nutrisense, EquiLife, IHP, Sakara, HigherDOSE, Danger Coffee, Organifi, OneSkin, ButcherBox, Canopy, Somavedic, Air Doctor, Vivarays, Vivrelle, Hydrow, We Feed Raw, Sculpt Society, Oliveda, and everyone who purchases through my links. It directly supports our family (and helps keep this little blog running), and I really appreciate it. I also started working with EllieMD this year because I love their products!

I launched Healing Code, my new signature program, and also launched Revenue Rx as a mentor to other Integrative Health Practitioners and Health Coaches looking to grow their businesses. I also ran my first workshop and look forward to running more of these in 2026; Stay tuned for details on the next one! Our next group program, DetoxU, officially launches next week, so more information on that will follow. Have fun on the horizon 😉
My efforts this year will focus on coaching clients and program participants, my Revenue Rx clients while helping them build profitable and freedom-based businesses, and of course creating content on the podcast, Instagram, and blog/Substack.
With full transparency, the blog has had some ups and some…downs. When I started the year, advertising revenue was killing it. I saw some numbers I hadn’t seen since the heyday of blogging. When we were in Spain, my advertising revenue was the best it had been in years. (Which confirms my suspicion that we actually need to move to Spain.) Welp, everything collapsed this fall, it has yet to recover, and I doubt it will.
With Google’s constant updates and AI searches, it’s actually no longer necessary to click on blog posts to get information. The search was a big recommendation for me, and now it’s miserable. Advertising revenue is now only about a quarter of what it normally is at this time of year… and it’s expensive to keep the blog alive with all the costs that come with it.
The good news is that I have multiple sources of income – so you can’t put all your income in one basket – but the devastating news is this I think a lot of bloggers will jump ship this year. I started a Substack that reminds me of the old days of blogging; No advertising, no writing for The Man (aka Google search) and it’s just casual and fun. I’ll obviously continue to post here, but if you’d like to follow along there, I’d love to see you!!
Personal and health goals:
My health goal is to continue working on the habits that make me feel my best, like quarterly detoxes, smart supplements, restorative practices, proper nutrition, walks, workouts (I like a mix of strength training, barre, spin, Pilates, and hot yoga), and stress management. My goal is to minimize toxins as much as possible, correct deficiencies, and continue to use functional laboratory testing as an amazing tool. I am proud of myself for taking responsibility for my health and getting to the root cause of what I was experiencing, as well as the ability to share everything I learned along the way.

I feel like I can take my training a step further again and maybe even set some fitness goals for the new year. 😉 I’m planning our summer trip (Tokyo and Seoul! Please stop by if you have any recommendations!) and just want to refocus on some of the things I let go of while trying to balance homeschool teaching and work (e.g. reading instead of doom scrolling, meditating, completing my High Performance Health and IHP Level 3 certifications, and spending more time with friends).
Continue to be the best mother, wife and friend I can be. I want the people in my life to know how much I love them and that I lead them every day with a grateful, patient, and loving heart. Some days are harder than others lol, but a morning gratitude check-in really impacts how I feel for the rest of the day.
I’d love to hear about your year and your goals! What are you proud of in the past year and what are you currently working on? Do you have health goals? Travel plans? I want to hear everything!
I wish you a happy, healthy, joyful and abundant year 2026.
