Are you looking for a natural remedy for toe fungus? I recently received this email from a reader and his mother asking how to cure stubborn toe fungus:
I watched Jini’s video about oregano oil and its use for toe fungus. I am 61 years old and have had toe fungus on my right toes, especially my toenails, for decades. My skin is not moist, so I’m not sure how best to use the oregano oil. Should I mix it with zinc oxide powder or with DMSO for deeper action? Or just the oregano oil directly on my toes?
In addition, my 88-year-old mother has very severe toe fungus, but also calluses that grow and break. She goes to the podiatrist every two months and he cleans her foot so there aren’t any deep cracks or infections, but it’s pretty bad. What is the best way to apply oregano oil to the foot? Jini said that zinc oxide is very drying and my mom is already cracking her calluses, so drying out is probably not good for her.
If you’re looking at my natural remedy for toe fungus and are worried about the drying effects of zinc oxide, then you can simply stick to wild oregano oil and DMSO to deliver the wild oregano deep into the tissue.
Be sure to read the safety instructions for using DMSO.
The reason zinc oxide powder works so well is that, aside from the beneficial effects of zinc, it allows for the formation of a paste that stays on the toes/feet much better than a liquid. So if it were me, I would try alternating between the paste (zinc oxide + wild oregano) and the liquid (2/3 wild oregano + 1/3 DMSO). You will find the right paste frequency for each of you. Maybe your mom can only apply the paste once a week, maybe you can apply it every 2nd or 3rd day. Your feet will tell you!
Keep us updated and please let us know which natural remedy for toe fungus is best for each of you. 🙂

And one last resource for you: If you don’t want to use zinc or DMSO, in this video with Dr. Alan Mandell provides a list of remedies (and how to use them) that can also work against toenail fungus:
