Hello friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? I hope you had a lovely evening! We escaped for some beach time, time with Kleiger’s family, and cooler weather in San Diego – it was perfect. The week ended with a little golf tournament fun with friends, an afternoon at the pool,

and watch the Wildcats win!
I’d love to hear what you’re up to!
It’s time for the weekly Friday Favorites roundup. I always love hearing about your favorites from the week and across the web, so please share what you like in the comments section below.
3.20 Friday Favorites
Fashion, beauty, coincidence:
San Diego!! We hopped on a zero speed flight and spent two FULL days in one of our favorite places. We landed at 7am (WHEW) and were at the Better Buzz drive-thru at 8:15am. Not.too.shabby.

We also got gluten free donuts and pastries from Phatties and it was all there. A little too dense (which I honestly love) and so fresh and sweet. We’ll definitely be back!
We knew it would be a while before our hotel room was ready, so we drove to Mission Beach. The weather was a dream.

P loved playing tag and running in the waves with us, and Liv and I also spent a lot of time relaxing on the beach blanket. After we woke up at 3:45 a.m., I may have fallen asleep on the beach and gotten a little sunburned.
(I packed this sandcastle set and this catcher set in our suitcase. We bought a beach blanket and a soccer ball at one of the Belmont stores.)
After beach time the girls were hungry so we went to Belmont Park for lunch, P and I got henna tattoos,

and the girls did the ropes course and rode a few rides.
Our hotel was ready so we went back to shower and relax for a few hours and then met the Kleigers for dinner to celebrate Wyatt’s birthday!

We ate a Benihana and it was the first time I had eaten hibachi since I went gluten free and didn’t feel like dying afterward. The sauces usually kill my stomach and mine and P’s main dishes used gluten free soy sauce. It was amazing!! We then ate Menchie’s before calling it a day.
The next day we slept in,
enjoyed a coffee while watching the fish and stingrays in the bay.

and had an epic breakfast at Gaslamp Breakfast Company.
This is the GOAT (goat cheese with caramelized onions and bacon – they substituted turkey bacon for me), gluten free toast and a decaf hazelnut almond milk latte.

This is definitely one of our new top breakfast spots in San Diego, and we have a few on the list 😉
After breakfast we went (at Liv’s request) to the K-pop store, which was located in an incredible Korean market. I enjoyed looking at all the food and Liv was able to pick up a few souvenirs for herself and a friend.
Then it was back to the beach 🙂 We spent another full afternoon in Mission, swimming, playing tag and building sandcastles until it was time to leave. We went back to the Kleigers to say “see you soon” before taking an Uber to the airport. The crazy thing is that we were technically in Tucson on Tuesday and Wednesday, but we still had a lot of fun in San Diego in between.

In this podcast episode I share some of my favorite sleep tips.
We watched The Martian this week – I started it on the plane – and it was surprisingly good. It was intense but I absolutely loved it.
Fitness, health and good food:
The Sculpt Society has released a new advanced program. All workouts last 30 minutes or less and are AWESOME. I took the new Sculpt class and it was a fun and unique process. Check it out here and get 25% off with code 25GINA.
