I’m sharing a full review of Vivrelle and whether I think it’s worth it. If you want to try it out, you can use GINAHARNEY for free for your first month here.

Hello Hello! How are you doing? I hope you’re having a great morning so far! I’m going to my kids’ school briefly and doing a podcast interview later today. I also have to stop by UPS to return my newest Vivrelle bag; one of my favorites that I have rented so far!

For today’s post, I decided to post a full review of Vivrelle after using their service for the past few months (and loooving it).

If you’ve ever wanted to try out different designer bags and jewelry without the designer price tag, you’ve probably heard of Vivrelle.

It’s been around for a while, but I feel like it’s becoming more and more popular lately. Today I wanted to talk about how much it costs, what brands there are, and whether it’s actually worth it.

TLDR version: I LOVE IT, but it may not be for everyone. Let’s break it all down.

Vivrelle review: Is it worth it? (My honest thoughts + How it works)

    What is Vivrelle?

Vivrelle is a luxury accessories membership that gives you access to a shared closet of designer handbags, jewelry, watches, and more for a monthly fee.

Instead of buying a $2,500 bag, you can rent it, wear it for as long as you want, and then trade it in for something new.

It’s pretty similar to Rent the Runway, but for designer bags and jewelry. (See my full review of Rent the Runway Unlimited here!)

    How Vivrelle works

The process is actually quite simple:

Apply for membership (they do a quick approval process. It won’t take long, I promise)

    Choose your membership level

Browse your collection and select an item

Your item will be delivered to your door (shipping and returns are included)

Keep it as long as you want and then swap it out for something new

There is also no strict return period. You can keep an item for a month or longer if you love it.

If you really fall in love with something, you can actually purchase it at a discounted member price, which is a huge perk.

    Vivrelle membership costs

Vivrelle has multiple pricing tiers depending on what level of luxury you want access to.

    Typical prices look like this:

Premier: approximately $45-49/month (jewelry + select bags)

Classique: about $119-$139/month (up to $4,000 worth of bags)

Couture: about $219-$239/month (upscale and rare pieces)

    Couture+: approx. $309-339/month (2 items each)

Each level unlocks a different “cabinet” and the higher you go, the more exclusive the pieces become.

There is also usually a minimum commitment period of 3 months that needs to be taken into account.

If you want to try it, you can use my code GINAHARNEY for your first month free.

    Brands available on Vivrelle

This is one of the biggest selling points.

Vivrelle carries real luxury brands. These are not duplicates or lookalikes. Each item is authenticated by its team or external experts. Everything I received felt brand new. No signs of wear or use.

    Brands you typically see include:

    Chanel

    Louis Vuitton

    Gucci

    Prada

    Saint Laurent

    Dior

    Bottega Veneta

You can use this as an opportunity to try out bags before committing to a purchase, which I think is brilliant. There were bags that I wanted to buy, but I didn’t know how much I would like them in everyday use. That sealed the deal for me. (It confirmed the fact that I actually want a Chanel caviar bag in tan. Pilot, are you reading? Are you here?)

    My experience with Vivrelle

For me, Vivrelle is one of those things that just makes getting dressed more fun. I think I have a problem too. I love new things or things that are new to me. This is why Rent the Runway and Vivrelle give me a huge dopamine rush without spending thousands of dollars.

I love that I can swap bags based on:

    season

    travel

    events

    Mood

It’s also perfect if you don’t want to commit to an expensive bag or like variety without cluttering up your wardrobe.

And honestly, it’s really fun to wear a bag that you wouldn’t normally buy just to try it out a little.

    Advantages of Vivrelle

    The biggest advantage is access.

You can wear luxury pieces without spending thousands of dollars upfront, making it feel much more accessible.

    It is also:

A good way to try before you buy

Perfect for special occasions or travel

    Constantly updated with new inventory

    Includes free shipping and returns

Allows you to exchange items as often as you like

Many users also love the flexibility and say it instantly upgrades their everyday outfits.

    Disadvantages of Vivrelle

As with everything, there are some disadvantages to consider.

The biggest factor is cost over time. While the monthly fee is lower than purchasing a bag, it adds up if you subscribe over a longer period of time.

Availability can also be an issue. Popular items sell out quickly, so you may not always get your first choice right away. (Pro tip: I put myself on the waitlist for all of my favorites so I’ll be notified when they come back in stock.)

A few other things to keep in mind:

There is a membership obligation (usually 3 months)

The items are not your property (unless you purchase them separately).

    Stock levels depend on demand

    Is Vivrelle worth it?

This really depends on your lifestyle.

Vivrelle is 100% worth it if:

You love designer bags but don’t want to commit to buying them

You like to change your style frequently

You have events, trips, or content creation where accessories are important

You want to test bags before investing

It may not be worth it if:

You prefer to own and keep your items

    They rarely change bags

You try to minimize monthly expenses

Vivrelle is one of those services that feels very “extra”… but in the best way.

It makes luxury more accessible, adds variety to your wardrobe, and honestly just makes getting dressed more fun.

For me it was worth it because of the flexibility, the experience and the opportunity to try out pieces that I wouldn’t otherwise buy.

If you’ve been curious, it’s definitely fun to try out, especially since you can try it out with a free month! (Attention: They have a minimum term of 3 months.)

You can use code GINAHARNEY for your first month free.

I hope you like it as much as I do!
