Hiiii! Happy Friday! How was the week? I hope you had a great evening! It was a bit chaotic for us, but it was good. Lola is still 100% pure puppy person and keeps me on my toes around here. Do not leave food unattended; She’ll go through with it and chew it in two bites.

(She also learned to drink from the sprinkler system and did zooms all over the couch)
The pilot is back from a week long trip (YAY) and we are on our way to the BTS concert. Getting tickets was one of the most intense experiences of my life lol, but I did it and the girls love it. I hope you have a nice weekend ahead of you!
It’s time for the weekly Friday Favorites roundup! Here I share some of my favorite finds of the week and around the internet. I always love hearing about your favorites too, so please share what you like in the comments section below.
5.1 Friday Favorites
Fashion, beauty, coincidence:
We took the crew to Las Vegas last weekend and it was incredible. I consider it their first *real* time since P was a baby and Liv was super tiny the last time we were there. The pilot was in Vegas for a military meeting, so the girls and I decided to crash the party. He spent the first few nights in a hotel off base and planned to meet us on Sunday.

(Riding the gondola at the Venetian! We’ve been to Vegas so many times but had never done that before)
The girls and I arrived on Saturday afternoon and headed to the Bellagio to check into our hotel. I booked the hotel with our Amex Platinum – my favorite for perks and points! – and depending on which hotel you book, you’ll often be eligible for late check-out, dining/breakfast credit, hotel or spa credit, and upgrades when available. (My referral link is here!)

Whenever I check in, I politely ask them if they would mind checking to see if any upgrades are available. We’ve had luck a few times and the check-in agent started typing furiously. I was hoping we would have a fountain view so we could watch the show and she upgraded us to a TWO BEDROOM PENTHOUSE SUITE. It was almost as big as our house.
She said, “You’ll have more fun this way.”
What a gem!!!
So now the girls are ruined forever, hahah, and completely obsessed with Vegas.
A few room pictures!
It featured a living room, dining room, full bar, two huge bedrooms and five bathrooms. It was totally wild and amazing. (I also feel like she might have sensed that I needed a little pick-me-up after a pretty rough week.)

I’m working on a blog post with Vegas ideas for teens/tweens, but please let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add or if I can answer any questions.

(Madame Tussad’s was a blast)
Remedy sent some of their vitamin C serum and it is so good. I love that it’s inexpensive, doesn’t have a strong scent, and leaves my skin feeling firmer and brighter.
I saw this on Anthro and bought it immediately. I love that it’s neutral and has a fun added detail.

How do you care for a fiddleleaf fig tree?

Who are the unexpected friends in your life?
I’m going to see “Devil Wears Prada 2” with Liv today – I’ll be back!
Fitness, health and good food:
A return to strength training in the gym. I feel like I haven’t posted any fitness content here in forever because I’ve been so burned out. When I was in the depths of autoimmune deficiency, I began to dread the gym. I couldn’t do it and so I started taking mostly lessons. I decided I really needed to do strength training differently – I love 45, but I’ve lost a lot of muscle since I started, even though I only participate in strength days – and it felt good to challenge myself with weights and move slowly.

These gummies are great for deep sleep when I’m feeling stressed.
Important! The Lumebox Birthday Sale is here and it’s 50% off all weekend long! If you’ve had your eye on one, now’s your chance! They are like the Swiss Army knife of wellness devices. I use it for pain, muscle soreness/recovery, headaches, stomach cramps, skin, mood and energy, I looove this thing. Get your copy here!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I wish you a great weekend and see you soon!
xoxo
