Hiiii! Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? We have a fun NCL event and then we’re off to Las Vegas for the night! Last time we took the girls, P was a baby and Liv was a preschooler, so they don’t really remember it. It’s not exactly a *kids place*, but there are a lot of fun things for kids. I look forward to taking them to Omega Mart, seeing a show, and introducing them to the splendor of the Wynn Buffet. I’d love to hear what you’re up to!

It’s time for the weekly Friday Favorites roundup! Here I share some of my favorite finds of the week and around the internet. I always love hearing about your favorites too, so please share what you like in the comments section below.

Fashion, beauty, coincidence:
The latest delivery from Vivrelle is awesome and she is a beauty. I had to pick it up at a UPS location because I was on the phone when they tried to deliver it, but it was worth the wait. If you’ve always wanted to try it, it’s a great opportunity to rent luxury handbags and jewelry, try new brands and enjoy the experience. Simply fill out a short application here and use GINAHARNEY for free for your first month. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Special delivery from OneSkin. I use OneSkin products every day and can’t wait to try out their new tinted lip protector (it has both SPF and OS-01 peptide) and their night mask is one of my staples. Check it out here!

Pool day with the pilot. When he’s home, we usually try to get things done around the house and just get through the weekly school/sports/homework battle. I had an open block in my schedule and thought, let’s just leave the responsibility behind and spend a few hours by the pool. It was EVERYTHING. We shared some fruit with Tajin and Chamois and just enjoyed the fresh air and sun (the weather was perfect) and some time to relax.

Personally, I had some unpleasant news this week. I’m celebrating three years since my big autoimmune flare-up and two years with no symptoms and negative lupus markers. I had my annual physical exam and blood work done about a week ago and I got the results back this week. My lupus markers (ANA and dsDNA) are positive again. *screams in autoimmune roller coaster ride*
My PCP and I are both at a loss because I have none of the symptoms I originally had and I have worked SO hard to detox, rebalance and heal my body. She said she wanted to do the test again in six months and then we would decide the next steps. She doesn’t think it’s urgent because I don’t have any symptoms, and she also said that it’s possible in healthy people to have a positive ANA.
Something is giving my immune system a boost, and I think it’s the mold we found in the bathroom. It’s pretty bad and our bathroom is attached to our bedroom without a door. :/ We have a call with the mold company to go over our findings – the bathroom mold is the most dangerous type of mold on the mold scale – and then come up with a plan.
I think I handled it all pretty well, even if I was pretty annoyed with the results. The pilot brought home a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful succulent arrangement to cheer me up.
I got negative marks once, I just have to do it again. I know the mold is a hindrance and even though it will be extremely expensive to get rid of it all, it will be worth it. I’ll write a full post soon and share more details and my plan of action, but I probably won’t do much until the mold is gone. (It’s also worth mentioning here that I haven’t done the Shark tutorial yet because I hate being in our bathroom any longer than necessary! I’m going to take it with me to a hotel so I can finally film it because I’m still obsessed with it and really want to post a great tutorial here.)
Studying with Maisey for re-audition of the symphony:

Read, watch, listen:
I’m still reading this and can already tell I’m going to have a huge book hangover when it’s over. What are you currently reading? Please share the goods!
New Oh She Glows Cookbook! I met Angela through the blog world – we started our blogs around the same time – and it was so cool to see what she has achieved with her blog and her beautiful plant-based recipes. We had dinner once in the first few days and she is absolutely lovely; everything you would expect. I’m really excited to add some of these to our menu next week.
Fitness, health and good food:
These salmon bowls were so good and easy: I just cooked rice in the Instant Pot, salmon in the air fryer (with paprika, garlic, salt, pepper, and chili flakes, with squeezed lemon after cooking), a Greek salad (just cucumber, tomato, avocado, red onion, feta, seasoned with lemon juice, red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper), and some dairy-free tzatziki from Trader Joe’s.

High volume, low calorie recipes.
Did a Sculpt Society training earlier this week which was perfect. It wasn’t cardio, just lots of barre-style strength training.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I wish you a great weekend and see you soon!
xoxo
