I've been traveling for over two months now (yes, I take my Natren probiotics packaged on ice with me everywhere!) and staying in hotels and rental cabins. But of course only WiFi internet is available to each individual.
There is not an Ethernet or fiber optic cable in sight! This means that I do very little work compared to my normal performance, as too much electromagnetic radiation makes me feel slightly dizzy and can lead to a headache in the left back of the head.
As someone who very rarely has headaches, I find that excessive electromagnetic radiation (EMR) causes discomfort in the same area over and over again. Imagine that.

Pismo Sand Dunes – being out in nature as much as I can
As you know, I LISTEN to my body! Hence the greatly reduced computer usage.
But then I sent my friend Jeromy Johnson – a former Silicon Valley engineer – an email complaining about my situation, and he sent me this absolutely brilliant solution for reducing EMR burden while traveling!
Only works with Dell or PC
Unfortunately, this solution does not work with an Apple Mac laptop or computer. I tried two different USB WiFi adapters from Amazon that claimed to be compatible with Mac but actually didn't work. Their customer service also confirmed that they do not keep the drivers or technology on the Mac up to date. 🙁
However, if you are working on a Dell PC or any other PC, here is a video that will show you what to do and how easy this solution is:
ps: If the video doesn't play for you, click this link to watch it on YouTube.
Here are the parts you will use:
- UGreen 15' USB 3.0 Extension Cable
- D-Link USB Wi-Fi Adapter (Note: The D-Link adapter is plug and play – no driver download required)
If you need further assistance or have any questions, please contact Jeromy directly – he is a former Silicon Valley engineer and extremely knowledgeable. Here is Jeromy's Ted Talk about this technology and why we need to be smart about how we use it:
I have a great video of my time with the elephant seals in San Simeon, California. Remember: the more time we spend in the great wild outdoors, the healthier we will be. We can make it easier for our bodies to balance and regenerate by spending time grounded and connected to our Mother Earth.
All animal/nature videos are posted on my YouTube channel Listen To Your Horse – but let me know if you want me to share the elephant seal video here on LTYG too and I will!

What amazing creatures!
