Why we conducted this session
In this video, Rachel takes on the role of the tapping practitioner and I am the client. It’s not easy to find people willing to share a real tapping session publicly, but I wanted to make this accessible to everyone.
Many of us struggle with food intolerances, restrictions, or the feeling that our bodies are limiting us in some way. For me it’s milk. I have struggled with bloating and digestive reactions to milk for years. But over time, I began to wonder whether these food reactions were just physical – or whether they were connected to something deeper.
Linking food intolerances with pleasure and freedom
Through my own tapping practice, I noticed a connection between Pleasure, permission and control. Every time I tried to enjoy the food more freely, something inside me seemed to withdraw.
As we explored this in session, we looked at old unconscious patterns – such as early childhood lessons about productivity, guilt associated with pleasure, and even ancestral or past life experiences that could create internal boundaries.

What if the body sometimes reflects the fears of the mind? What if intolerance or restriction was also a way to protect ourselves from total expression and power? We investigated such questions together.
What the knock can reveal
Tapping (EFT) combines gentle acupressure with mindful statements. It helps release stored emotions and beliefs that may be influencing how the body feels and behaves.
During our session we followed the thread wherever it led; sometimes to surprising places. We uncovered layers of old beliefs that assume I don’t feel confident living life to the fullest or trusting my own strength. As the session progressed, these feelings began to change.

At the end there was a feeling of peace, openness and security, a feeling that perhaps it is okay to experience both pleasure and freedom in this body, in this life.
Why I share this
I believe that when one of us heals, we open the way for many others to do the same. That’s why I wanted to share this very real, unscripted experience with you.
If any part of our conversation resonates, I invite you to join us Tap along with the video. You may discover your own insights into where freedom feels blocked or where the body is protecting you more than you realize.
