With spring just around the corner, you may already be following my seasonal allergy treatment protocol — but I also wanted to share with you the super-simple hay fever prevention method that I use every day.
I spend 2-3 hours a day with my horses in the full splendor of nature. That’s my Belgian mare Audelina in the picture at the end of the post, and you can see that nature is blooming, sprouting and pollinating everywhere!
Here’s what I add to my BlenderBottle every morning to boost my immune system by taking advantage of nature’s antihistamines and immune boosters:
Anti-allergy shake
Then add:
Shake and go!
Tip: If you don’t use MultiAbsorb Immune (just one measuring spoon instead of opening and emptying several capsules!), here is a tip. When I get my Pycnogenol and CoQ10, I mix them in a bottle as they are easy to tell apart by color – so I only have to open one bottle instead of two! If you are picky, you can also swallow the B-complex capsule separately as it has the strongest taste.
Of course, if you usually have a fruit and/or vegetable smoothie for breakfast, you can simply add all of these ingredients before blending it.
If you have some vitamin C and tolerate it well, you can add it too. I usually eat a pack of Emergen-C with lunch.
Even if the poplar fuzz is as thick as snowflakes in the air, this shaking will prevent the itchy, runny nose and red, itchy, runny eyes. And if my eyes tingle a bit, a few drops of homeopathic allergy eye drops from Similasan are enough. If you have severe allergies, take 1,000 mg of quercetin several times a day. One of my readers has been taking 12,000 mg per day for years and reports no side effects from the high dosage.
