    Strawberry is a very popular fruit. But is strawberry keto friendly? Read on to find the answer.

    What is a strawberry?

    A strawberry is widely known and loved for its bright red color, juicy and sweet taste. It is an excellent source of vitamin C and is actually a better source of the vitamin than oranges.

    The fruits are commonly consumed fresh or used in various desserts such as cakes, pies, jams, ice cream and milkshakes. It is also used to make other products such as soaps, lip products, perfume and much more!

    Nutritional information for strawberries

    Before we answer the question “Is strawberry keto friendly?” To answer this question, let's first take a look at the nutritional information.

    90g or 5 large strawberries contain 29 calories, 0.3g total fat and 6.9g total carbohydrates. It also contains 1.8g of fiber, meaning it has a total of 5.1g of net carbs.

    Is strawberry keto suitable? Can you eat it on the keto diet?

    Yes, strawberries are keto friendly. However, since they contain a moderate amount of carbohydrates (5.1g net carbs per 90g), you need to eat them in moderation.

    Unlike fruits like avocados, which are low in carbohydrates, too many strawberries can knock you out of ketosis. Therefore, pay attention to the portion size before consumption.
