At Listen to Your Gut, we are acutely aware of the current health concerns surrounding sending and receiving packages during this COVID-19 health crisis. I’ll be completely honest with you: all packages I’ve received recently have been immediately sanitized and thoroughly hand washed after handling/recycling each package! Call it preventative measures or maybe paranoia, but can you blame me?
If you haven’t seen Jini’s short and sweet action plan in response to the coronavirus, she’s answered some of the questions we’ve been receiving lately – like what to do if panic breaks out or how to take natural, preventive measures if you’re living with an already weakened immune system. Additionally, she recorded a video in which she shares her version of EFT Tapping (an acupressure tapping method that creates an interface between body and mind) for any of you who are worried, fearful, anxious and stressed about COVID-19 and the resulting response from governments worldwide. She’s also shared a number of other resources – like her wild oregano oil antiviral protocol, inhaled glutathione and hydrogen peroxide for lung problems, and how to use a eucalyptus vapor and nebulized hydrogen peroxide for lung infections.
As I go back up, I want to offer you some peace of mind and share this with you Extra ALL of our warehouses (both in the US and Canada) are taking precautionary measures – both during inventory and during the fulfillment of your LTYG Shoppe order. With these measures, our storage facilities aim to protect many of our vulnerable customers who trust that their products will be delivered to them safely. This is what LTYG Shoppe warehouses do:
- We actively monitor the health and safety of our employees at all of our warehouse locations. This includes:
- A daily screening process has been implemented where ALL employees are screened to assess anyone who may be showing signs of illness
- If anyone shows signs of illness, we ask them to go home
- We continue to encourage employees to stay home if they are sick or to work from home where possible
- Travel to other locations was limited
- We have improved the hygiene process of ALL areas in all our warehouses:
- We encourage frequent and thorough handwashing and provide a place for employees, customers and visitors to wash their hands on site
- If soap and running water are not immediately available, we offer alcohol-based hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol
- We encourage respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes
- We discourage employees from using other employees’ telephones, desks, offices, or other work tools and equipment whenever possible
- We limit the number of employees in break rooms at the same time to a maximum of 15-20 people.
- We will maintain regular cleaning practices, including routine cleaning and disinfection of surfaces, equipment and other elements of the work environment
Our warehouse management will continue to have frequent team meetings reinforcing social distancing and personal hygiene, in addition to maintaining adequate supplies to ensure ALL work and material surfaces are clean. Notices to visitors are posted at all entrances and management is considering spreading the daily workload over a longer working day to reduce the frequency of personal contact.
As both the warehouse and FedEx face additional challenges due to COVID-19, there are also possible one-day transportation delays. Given these possible delays, we can assure you that we will do our best to get orders to you within the usual two-day delivery time.
