Listen to your body
Did I have lymphoma or not? Is an official medical diagnosis even important?
Serious transformation becomes possible when we choose to view our symptoms as messages from our bodies; our deeper wisdom, our higher self, our subconscious.

My body speaks to me…what does it say?
When we can fully enter into synergy with our mind/body/spirit – perceiving that all is one – and that all parts of us are always interceding for us…then the world becomes a much more interesting place where suffering can be transformed into wisdom.
Self-healing journey
Let me give you an example. One morning I woke up with a large, swollen bruise on the left side of my neck. What the hell? Did something hit my neck yesterday that I don’t remember?? As I felt around, I realized it was my lymph node.
As the weeks went by I took some immune boosting supplements and slept more, but it didn’t get better, it just kept getting bigger. That’s why I had my dentist take 3D x-rays to rule out any type of jawbone or sinus infection. He recommended that I see an oncologist to get a lymphoma screening.
Then a few days later I visited my brother, a doctor, and he told me about a buddy of his who had a swelling that looked exactly like mine, which was cancerous and was rapidly progressing. So he urged me to get a lymphoma test.

I thought about their opinions and then thought, “If the worst thing this could be is cancer, why don’t I just assume it’s cancer and cure it? And then anything less serious than cancer will automatically be cured anyway.”
So I did it. I didn’t feel like an official medical diagnosis would benefit me in any way.
Unlock your inner wisdom
Instead, I immediately entered my body as a messenger from my higher self, embodying messages from my subconscious and entering my consciousness for perception.
Interestingly, it was only on the left side of my body. The left side is the female; Intuition, caring, receptivity, compassion, creativity. It was on my neck; Throat chakra, voice, expression, speaking my truth, etc.
It affected the lymph; Stagnation, purification, filtration, etc. All of this information was advice to follow.

Healing tools for mind, body and soul
To figure out what they all meant and what messages my higher self was trying to convey, I used the following mind, body, and soul remedies:
- Osteopathy
- Visceral manipulation and myofascial release
- Craniosacral (somato-emotional relaxation)
- Lymphatic drainage
- Laser Tapping
- Hypnotherapy
- acupuncture
- Journaling
- Medicine cards (also called oracle cards)
- Somatic experience
- Worked with my herd of wild horses
- NO sugar. Absolutely none. And no grains.
- Supplements: Tinctures of Burdock, Dandelion, Thistle (interestingly, these three plants exploded on my ranch – I harvested them and made my own tinctures), Medicinal Mushrooms, MultiAbsorb Immune Booster, IV Vitamin C and Myers Cocktail, Potassium Iodide Oral, Bone Matrix, QuikPlus Magnesium, Probiotics, Oral Vitamin C. Lotus Wei Flower Essences: Truthteller, Full Bloom, and Luminous Chi. Topically, I applied 50/50 potassium iodide and DMSO to the swollen gland twice daily, along with comfrey ointment if the skin was irritated.
And because I’m very knowledgeable about holistic healing, I knew it was best to do all of these things at once. I could write a little book about all the insights I gained, all the messages my body had for me, and then all the actions I took to implement those messages.
My lymph was back to normal within 8 weeks and it stayed that way.
Holistic healing and messages from the body
Our body always stands up for us. Our body works with our mind and soul to guide us toward greater wholeness and heal dysfunctional beliefs, patterns, or behaviors. It’s up to you to decide what to do with the messages and opportunities your body offers you.
Do you want to ignore the messages and the possibilities for wholeness and just drug them? Or would you like to accept them with gratitude as a path to your greater healing? Your life, your relationships, the way you move through the gift of life on this planet?

Since the body is the messenger for the subconscious, the body is the densest part of the soul.
Not separate from the soul, not the “vehicle in which my soul is carried around,” but the densest part of the soul.
It is my life’s mission to bring this integration of body/mind/spirit across all levels of the self into the tissues and cells of my precious body.
I do not see the body as a temporary container or an inferior vessel limited by time and space.
I view the body as a precious gift, an enormous treasure of incarnate wisdom. The part of us that is directly in touch with our higher self, the cosmic consciousness, the divine and also our brain/mind.
Not just as a line, but as an integrated, simultaneous interface.
PS: If this topic lights your fire, I highly recommend getting the book “Healing Ancient Wounds” by John F. Barnes.
